I loved Mim and Cal! Want to Read Currently Reading Read. Rather than present her body as crrusie object to be viewed, Crusie focuses on feelings, gestures, and reactions. Cal is a great hero.

It rankles a lot. Cal and Jnenifer really balance each other out, and their relationship, even when fraught with misunderstandings and mistrust, is remarkably healthy. Cal is not known for serious relationships. All the miserable characters in this book are skinny though there are happy skinny people too.

Why haven’t I heard of Jennifer Crusie before now?

My interests are varied but I do read a good amount of romances- I read the hating game and because of that Kindle recommended this one for me. That’s the only time the book annoyed me or made me roll my eyes. Yes, it IS that good!

Oh, and the banter. And okay, in the men department, she’s a bit lacking too.
