Sudha a very playful and happy girl was married to a good guy by not Chander. Story content is very good. Reading this novel and trying to empathize with the author’s or the protagonists’ heartfelt agony, for me, was same as searching for buried treasure in a vast field of land.
Write a review Rate this item: This is Dharamvir Bharati’s most famous work, and it earned him a huge fan-following especially in the contemporary youth, as well as several awards and accolades, thus making him one of the most recognised names in Hindi Literature following Munshi Premchand. I knew that it the essence, the fevta realization, the soulful discovery was there gunajon.
Here author talks about a very contradictory sprouted gnuahon, chander thinks that she is talking to him only because she is married and needs a lover. At this point he turns to Pammi, a Christian girl, to explore the physical aspect of love which was hitherto unknown to him. Chander and Sudha behaves as if they are untouched by the malice of growing old.
One of the best book I have ever read. Also it realizes us about the difficulties in the path of love without expectation.
